Their Academy team faced a more specific problem: manually managing CPE credit delivery for NASBA-certified events attended by members who depend on those credits for professional compliance. Existing tools lacked the conditional logic and Salesforce integration needed to verify event registration before accepting a CPE request, and there was no reliable way to ensure accountability without adding friction to the post-event process.

FormAssembly gave the association’s Academy team the ability to build a CPE request workflow that connects directly to Salesforce — only allowing form submissions from attendees who registered for the event — and automatically delivers CPE credits via autoresponder. Features like Save and Resume, form closing rules, and session-code accountability measures replaced a cumbersome manual process.
The team also used FormAssembly’s formula and variable capabilities to calculate CPE totals automatically, something they couldn’t do with Microsoft Forms, providing a more personalized experience for their learners.

What’s Next?
The association is building a short-form lesson delivery experience entirely within FormAssembly — embedding video content, “check for understanding” questions, and scored assessments with instant feedback into a paginated form that mimics a lightweight LMS.
The Stripe connector handles course fee collection, and a branching workflow routes students to different follow-up forms based on pass/fail outcomes, with prefilled lesson titles and scores. Certificates are delivered by email, and students can retry exams or revisit content as needed.
