2025 Product Highlights

FormAssembly Atlas

FormAssembly Atlas, the next generation of FormAssembly’s data collection and automation platform, was released this year, unifying forms and workflows into a single, workflow-first interface.

With Atlas, users can:

  • Design end-to-end data collection processes in one place
  • Orchestrate integrations, approvals, document generation, and notifications
  • Move beyond standalone forms to full data journeys

FormAssembly accounts on the Classic platform remain fully supported, but Atlas provides an accessible entry point for teams looking to unlock workflow capabilities.

Fai: FormAssembly’s AI Assistant

At the heart of FormAssembly Atlas is Fai (short for FormAssembly AI), a built-in, agentic AI assistant.

Fai guides users through workflow creation, making it faster and easier than ever to build the forms and workflows needed to keep businesses moving forward.

Fai can:

  • Build new forms and workflows from natural-language prompts
  • Modify or refine existing forms
  • Answer questions about form performance and configuration
  • Flag compliance considerations, including GDPR-related concerns

Any output that Fai produces is a suggestion, keeping the humans behind the forms and workflows in the driver’s seat at all times.

File-to-Web Form Conversion

FormAssembly’s file-to-web form feature expanded beyond PDFs in 2025, allowing users to generate forms from:

  • PDFs and scanned paper forms
  • Screenshots of existing forms
  • CSVs listing required fields
  • Other common file formats

When creating a new form, users can simply upload a file and ask Fai to automatically generate a web form from it. This dramatically reduces the time it takes to go from a concept to a fully functioning form.

This feature has proven especially useful for teams migrating from legacy systems or digitizing paper-based processes.

Next-Generation Salesforce Connector

One of the most impactful releases of the year was the enhanced Salesforce Connector, which introduced a more powerful, flexible integration model. New capabilities include:

  • Preconditions and dependencies to control when data syncs occur
  • Return variables that allow data to flow back from Salesforce into workflows
  • Bidirectional data handling for more advanced, logic-driven processes

These enhancements enable more sophisticated workflows, such as conditionally creating or updating records, dynamically routing tasks, and reusing Salesforce data later in a workflow.

HubSpot Connector

In 2025, FormAssembly launched a HubSpot connector. Organizations using HubSpot and FormAssembly can now:

  • Send form and workflow data directly to HubSpot CRM objects
  • Upload files into HubSpot
  • Apply FormAssembly’s data quality and workflow logic within the HubSpot ecosystem

This release supports FormAssembly’s broader goal of bringing enterprise-grade data collection to more CRM environments.

Advanced Document Generation and E-Signature

FormAssembly introduced advanced document generation within Workflow, allowing teams to:

  • Upload custom Word (.docx) templates
  • Merge form data directly into documents
  • Use conditional logic and repeated sections within templates
  • Send generated documents for single or multi-signer e-signatures

Signed documents can then be automatically stored in connected systems like Salesforce, eliminating the need for third-party document generation tools and reducing manual handoffs.

Stripe Connector

A new Stripe connector designed specifically for workflow-based payments was introduced in the FormAssembly platform this year. This update makes it possible to collect and process payments as a native step within a workflow, rather than as a standalone form add-on.

With the Stripe workflow connector, teams can:

  • Collect one-time payments securely within a workflow
  • Dynamically calculate payment amounts using workflow variables
  • Route respondents down different paths based on payment success or failure
  • Trigger downstream actions (such as Salesforce updates or approval steps) only after payment is completed

This connector is especially useful for use cases where payment needs to be tightly coupled with approvals, document generation, or CRM updates.
