Salesforce connection management just got easier
It’s no secret that many FormAssembly Workflows have steps involving Salesforce data. So if you’ve ever run into a broken Salesforce connection and weren’t sure where to fix it, this update’s for you.
You can now re-authenticate a broken connection directly from the External Authorizations page. Furthermore, broken connections are now clearly flagged so they’re easy to spot. That means less hunting and faster fixes.
Navigate to the External Authorizations page to see a new Reauthorize button for Salesforce connections.
Embedded workflows load quicker for first-time visitors
Great news! If you have Workflows embedded via JavaScript (or have wanted to look into this option more), these embedded workflows now render sooner the first time someone hits them thanks to some engineering updates behind the scenes. Our team estimates things load up to 33% faster, so if you’re using embedded workflows in a customer-facing experience, this is one they’re sure to notice.

Quick tips on form security
A few simple configurations go a long way toward protecting your forms from misuse, especially on public-facing forms that collect open-ended text. Here are a few tips our Support team regularly provide:
- Set a maximum length on text fields (like name fields) to prevent unusually long or malformed input. Learn how here.
- Add a CAPTCHA to catch automated submissions before they reach you. Bonus: If a traditional CAPTCHA feels too impersonal for forms like applications or admissions (where you want the experience to feel warm, not like a security checkpoint), FormAssembly also supports an invisible CAPTCHA option that verifies submissions without requiring visitors to click anything. - Enable “Review Before Submit” so respondents see a summary of their answers before finalizing. It’s a simple extra step that discourages automated or careless submissions. Here’s how to enable it.
