We’re back from Dreamforce with plenty of pictures to share from the awesome conference, in addition to lots of news about new developments for FormAssembly! Here’s the scoop on our week in San Francisco:
Admin Demo Jam Win
Remember when we competed in a Demo Jam at Midwest Dreamin’ earlier this year? Well, we did it again and won!! We were the winner of the Admin Demo Jam, and went on to the Mega Demo Jam along with six other winners of different Demo Jams.
Though we didn’t win the Mega Demo Jam (that honor went to SharinPix), we’re super proud of our Demo Jam win. I mean, seriously, have you seen the trophy? How awesome is that?
V3 Connector Reveal
One of the biggest newsflashes for FormAssembly at Dreamforce 2017 was the unveiling of version 3 of our Salesforce Connector. While the updated connector, which makes it easier and faster to set up a FormAssembly-Salesforce connection, won’t be available till 2018, Dreamforce attendees were able to get a first look at what the connector will be capable of. Missed Dreamforce? Here’s the video.
Booth and Nonprofit Lodge
We had not one, but two, locations at Dreamforce this year: booth #901 in the expo and kiosk #2B in the Nonprofit Lodge. Having more teammates from FormAssembly attending definitely helped us manage both booths better. All told, eight people from FormAssembly attended Dreamforce: CEO/founder Cedric Savarese, Director of Marketing Ashley McAlpin, Director of Customer Success Hillary Sciscoe, Director of Business Development Jaret Manuel, Channel Solutions Engineer Peter Bernardi, Sales Development Manager Chima Ihekwoaba, Business Development Representative Lindsay Spence, and Customer Success Manager Katrina Garza.
Dreamforce is known for great musical performances. Past conferences have included appearances from artists such as U2 and Stevie Wonder. At this year’s Dreamfest concert, Lenny Kravitz and Alicia Keys gave star performances that created an unforgettable night.
This year we sponsored two parties with two of our partners: Idealist Consulting and WalkMe. The parties didn’t disappoint! We had a great time rubbing shoulders with other Dreamforce attendees in some super cool San Fran locations.
Next in Nonprofits Interview
Also during our time at Dreamforce, our CEO and founder Cedric Savarese was interviewed by Next in Nonprofits podcast host Steven Boland for a podcast episode. Check out the episode and let us know what you think!
Dreamforce just gets better every year. We can’t wait for 2018’s conference (which we’ve already started getting ready for!). If you can’t wait either, check out our Salesforce eBook for more information on our FormAssembly/Salesforce integration.
