Designing FormAssembly Themes

With FormAssembly's Theme Development Kit

What are Form Themes?

Users of form building and data processing service FormAssembly can customize the look and feel of their forms with themes, which can be built from scratch using CSS to match any branding requirements. Themes can include specific fonts, colors, and other styles to give a form a specific look. To assist you in theme creation, we created a development kit, which contains documentation and examples on how to write CSS for form themes.

Why Create Form Themes?

We are looking for designers to help make FormAssembly themes more engaging, appealing, and advanced, which is why we’d love your help! You can request the theme development kit if you are a designer and you want to create themes for FormAssembly users at large. CSS/Sass knowledge is helpful.

Creating a Form Theme

When you design a theme, you will work within our existing CSS/HTML framework, built to support a large range of responsive form layouts and form elements.

You will be able to create unique visual styles for any form elements (including inputs, fieldsets, buttons, tables, etc.) using CSS. Unique themes benefit organizations by allowing them to adhere more closely to branding requirements than default form themes.

To assist you in theme creation, we created a development kit, which contains documentation and examples on how to write CSS for form themes.
