How well do you know the awesome people behind FormAssembly? This series is the place to learn all about our awesome team members. This week we’re profiling Morgan DeFelippis, who just moved into the role of Manager of Customer Support.
Name: Morgan DeFelippis
Title: Manager of Customer Support
Time at FormAssembly: 4 months
1. What interested you about FormAssembly in the first place?
Awesome culture, excellent product, and I’m a huge advocate for remote work (being with my family as much as possible is super appealing!).
2. What do you love about what you do?
I am definitely a Support “lifer,” I’ve worked in Support for 10 years! I love that every customer I help has a unique problem for me to solve. I also really really love fixing things, so it’s the perfect fit for my overly-productive personality.
3. What excites you most about your position and growth opportunity at FormAssembly?
I love that I’m a part of helping the Support team grow, which means putting new processes in place that help us better serve our customers.
4. What has been your proudest moment at FormAssembly?
I just became the Manager of Support, which is super exciting! But also, every time I solve a customer issue and make them happy is really awesome :).
5. If your team had to use one word to describe you, what would it be and why?
Coffee. Because, coffee.
6. What are some of your favorite activities outside of work?
I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old, so my days are filled with kid activities. We spend a lot of time outside on adventures in the nearby city park, or chasing baby foxes in the cemetery behind our house. Pittsburgh is a really exciting city that has grown a lot over the last few years, so there is always something new and fun to check out. My family is also always working on house projects; we renovated an old house from top to bottom and that keeps us pretty busy.
7. What’s something not a lot of people know about you?
When I was a kid, I used to record every episode of Friends on VHS. Eventually I got every single episode on tape, just in time for the DVDs to come out.
8. If you were a breakfast cereal, what would you be and why?
9. Who was your role model/hero as a child?
My mom! She’s a huge part of my life and is pretty much my hero every day by helping me make decisions, taking care of my babies, and being generally the most amazing human, ever.
