1. What interested you about FormAssembly in the first place?
I’ve always had an odd interest in forms. Besides that, I’ve always liked working with software and the web, whether it was creating websites or helping with technology in past positions.
2. What do you love about your job?
I love helping people. Â I help our customers learn how to use FormAssembly, our internal staff with questions, and train our teammates on our product. I also listen to our customers on what features we could add to make FormAssembly even more helpful for them. I take those suggestions to the product team and advocate for our customers.
3. What excites you most about your position and growth opportunity at FormAssembly?
I was the first full-time customer support hire and I’ve had the privilege of seeing a lot of growth throughout the company. It’s been an honor to grow into leading our customer-facing team over the past few years, and the best part is watching my team grow. I love finding a team member’s strength and working with them to align their goals with the company’s, see them take ownership of the role, and do an amazing job.
4. What are some of your favorite activities outside of work?
Watching my 4-year-old daughter sing and dance tops the list. We also have a small farm where we raise goats, chickens, and rabbits, and in the summer we keep very busy in our garden. I love to hike too!
5. If you were a superhero, who would you be and why?
I can’t really say I’d want to be a superhero, but if I did, I guess I’d have to go with Superman. He’s just a good-hearted farm boy that loves to help people. And he can fly!
6. What’s something not a lot of people know about you?
I wish I grew up on a farm, and hunting and fishing. I look forward to the day when my family can be self-sufficient when it comes to what we put into our bodies.
7. If your team had to use one word to describe you, what would it be and why?
Bossy? No wait, that’s my daughter! Hopefully something more along the lines of helpful. 🙂 My team has a pretty intense job, and I hope they know I’m always there to help.
8. What’s your favorite thing about working at FormAssembly?
The team and how we work. I’ve never worked with a team that took more pride in their work. We take hiring very seriously and look for people that want to work here, instead of people that just need a job. Everyone collaborates well and has fun.
