So far, our Teammate Highlight series has been a fun way for us (and you!) to get to know several members of the FormAssembly team better. In this Teammate Highlight, we’re learning about Hayley McNitt, Event Coordinator at FormAssembly.

1. What interested you about FormAssembly in the first place?
FormAssembly’s Event Coordinator position popped up in my job search, and I was initially intrigued by the remote aspect. I used FormAssembly in the past, so it was somewhat familiar to me and I loved the seamless organization it allowed. I was officially sold after my first meeting with a few of my now-coworkers. The culture of the company really shined through them, and I knew right then I wanted to be a part of the awesome team!
2. What’s your favorite thing about your job?
My favorite thing about my job is that I get to plan events that excite people, like the all-team reunion in Sonoma. When I’m not planning internal events, I get to organize FormAssembly’s participation in events all over the world that will be positive for our brand equity and development. What’s not to love?!
3. What excites you most about your position and growth opportunity at FormAssembly?
FormAssembly recently landed on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private companies for the second year in a row. If that’s not exciting, I don’t know what it is! Specifically to my role, I am excited to develop and expand the events that we participate in. The marketing team is very receptive to new ideas, which makes the creative side of me really excited for what’s to come.
4. What unique qualities do you bring to the FormAssembly team?
My event background is very diverse. I have dipped my toes in all industries from nonprofit, to catering, to sports management and everything in between. My scope of experience has made me really well-rounded and innovative.
5. What are some of your favorite activities outside of work?
Oh, this list could get long… Biking, hiking, walks with my dog, and Iowa State football games. Living in Minnesota, we only get a few sweet months of warmth. When it’s cold out, I spend my time cooking, participating in yoga and fitness classes, brewery or winery hopping, playing cribbage, and spending time at home or traveling with my husband, family, and friends.
6. What’s something not a lot of people know about you?
I am a barre instructor and spend a few hours a week teaching classes! I also love to cook and find great joy in attempting new healthy, delicious meals. I aspire to one day be on Chopped Amateur Chefs.
7. If you were a breakfast cereal, what would you be and why?
I would have to mix Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Captain Crunch Peanut Butter. Mostly because I’m indecisive, but secondly because that’s the best of both worlds – sweet & salty!
