We love getting to know our customers and partners, but we realized you don’t really know us! In this new series, we will be highlighting the teammates that make FormAssembly awesome. So, today meet Deborah, our Creative Director.
Name: Deborah Kim
Title: Creative Director
Time at FormAssembly: Since September 2012 (4 years and 1 month!).
1. What interested you about FormAssembly in the first place?
It was a tiny tech startup, which seemed like a great place to grow and learn new things. I wasn’t very familiar with the tech industry at the time, and it was an intriguing opportunity right here in Bloomington.
2. What do you love about what you do? About FormAssembly as a whole?
Being part of an awesome team and collaborating across Product, Engagement, and Marketing. I love to work with words and design and to help shape the user experience. It’s exciting to solve problems together. FormAssembly is also an amazing place to work — it’s a friendly and creative environment.
3. If your team had to use one word to describe you, what would it be and why?
Versatile. I like to think I’m pretty flexible, no matter the project!

Reading, taking photos, drawing, and playing too much Fire Emblem.
5. What’s something not a lot of people know about you?
Probably that I play too much Fire Emblem… ?
6. What’s your spirit animal? Why?
Pikachu or Puppycat. Small, cute, and disgruntled.
