What do you know about Midwest Dreamin’? If you’re involved with the Salesforce community you’ve probably heard about the upcoming Chicago conference, to be held this August. It’s an event for Salesforce community members to network and gain new knowledge, and it features an awesome line-up of speakers.
We’re super excited to attend and sponsor this year (and to be partaking in a demo jam). So excited in fact, that we wanted to share why, and we asked some others to do the same.
Check out the quotes below to hear what everyone’s looking forward to and why you should be pumped for Midwest Dreamin’ 2017, too!

“For me, it’s all about the people. I’ve got so many good friends in the Salesforce Ecosystem. Whether I have met them in person or only know them through the Community or social media, events like Dreamforce and Midwest Dreamin’ are the perfect opportunities to connect face to face with the #Ohana. I’m excited to discover new friends, get reacquainted with existing friends, and just make personal connections. Life is so much better when it’s shared.”
Eric Dreshfield | Advocacy Manager, Apttus | Founder, Midwest Dreamin’ | Salesforce MVP | @ericdresh
“I’m most excited to reconnect, personally, with partners and hear more use cases! I can never get enough of FormAssembly. Midwest Dreamin’ is an event I’ll have attended now three times and the growth is amazing. The Demo Jam will be a great way to highlight our product and the competition will be fun! Chicago has a vibrant Salesforce community I can’t wait to connect with.”

“What I’m most excited about with Midwest Dreamin’ this year is the nonprofit track. For the first time, there will be sessions specific to nonprofits using Salesforce. It should create some fun conversation on the Power of Us Hub afterwards.”
Nick Lindberg | Director of Nonprofits, Redpath Consulting Group | Midwest Dreamin’ Organizer | Salesforce MVP | @NickersUniverse
“I am really looking forward to Midwest Dreamin’ ’17! I am speaking again this year, and there are tons of great sessions. These events are much less frantic than the larger corporate style events, and I feel they allow you to not only learn, but to really get to know each other and build your relationships within our Ohana.”
Amy Oplinger | Salesforce Consultant, Coastal Cloud | Midwest Dreamin’ Speaker | @SalesforceAmy
“Midwest Dreamin’ 2014 was my very first Salesforce event when I started as an Admin, so it holds a special place in my heart. Every year this event puts out great content and opportunities to network and connect with other community members. This year I’m excited to give back to the event as a speaker and see what the nonprofit track has in store for us!”
Cassie Supilowski | Director of Data Solutions, OneGoal | Midwest Dreamin’ Speaker | @csupilow
“It will be exciting to see how the event has grown since I last attended a couple years back. It’s always a fun time to get together with the passionate technical ‘who’s who’ of the Salesforce Ohana. I owe some solid friendships and partnerships to awesome events like MWD. Couple all of that with the event being held at the Palmer House, along with a potential hug from Amber Boaz’s mom, and you’re attending next level awesomesauce!”
Jaret Manuel | Director of Business Development, FormAssembly | @JaretManuel
