This tool was designed to help you keep track of the time you
spend on any task. Use it for time management, to improve
the accuracy of your time estimates, or for any other purpose
you may find useful.
How does it work?
When you're ready to start a new task (or even before), come to this
site and add the task to the list. A timer will run until you
come back to pause the task or mark it as completed. It would
be a good idea to bookmark this page now.
How do I pause a task?
Click on the task to bring up the contextual menu and select 'Stop Timer'.
How do I mark a task as completed?
Click on the task to bring up the contextual menu and select 'Done'. If you need to undo the operation, edit your account preferences to show completed tasks then choose 'undone' in the contextual menu.
How do I save my tasks ?
Every change is saved automatically. You can navigate away or close your browser without losing any information.
Can I re-order/sort the list
Yes, click on the 'up&down' bullet and drag the task to its new position.
Can I make categories and/or sub-tasks ?
Yes, to nest a task, drag it over another task and wait a second or two until the insert point toggles from 'insert above' to 'insert inside', then release the drag. The duration of nested tasks will be compounded.
Please note that all tasks remain independent at all time. A parent task can be started, stopped, or even completed, without any impact on the sub-tasks.
